Alternative derivative identification is now available in Valuation Anywhere's Bulk Import service.
This new bulk import service offers the user the ability to select the appropriate model for the registration number when potential alternatives are available.
The new service will:
- Import all direct match vehicles in to the chosen group and location as normal.
- Store any vehicles that have potential alternate derivatives so they can reviewed and revisited at a later date or matched directly after import (note – vehicles that are not reviewed and matched will not return a valuation).

You can now view registration numbers that have not imported. The Manual Match button allows users to go directly to the alternative derivative interface:
Select a vehicle from the list of potentials displayed and then click confirm to accept and move on to the next record. If you are not sure then simply skip to move to the next record. Skipped or un-matched records will not be valued:
If you don’t want to review and match possible alternatives immediately, you can return to the list of un-matched/skipped vehicles at any time via the Review/Export bulk button:
When bulk exports are performed, the ‘message’ field now provides better descriptions:
- Couldn't value VRM – VRM Not Found
- Couldn’t value VRM – Alternative Derivatives Available
- Valued VRM – Manually selected
- Valued VRM
