'Dealers need to be relevant and responsive more than ever before'
Join CAP’s Retail and Consumer Editor Philip Nothard at this year’s sold out Car Dealer Conference and Automotive Expo 2015, which takes place on Tuesday 9 June at Silverstone Motor Circuit.
Philip is running a workshop called ‘Know Your Customers’ at 10am and 1.45pm where he will demonstrate the dealers’ actual view of today’s market challenges, as consumer expectations and demands evolve.
The workshop will not focus on Philip’s view of the dealer world, but rather the dealers’ own take on current dealer issues. It will not be a ‘theoretical’ workshop, but instead it will offer practical information and ideas that delegates can take away and use in practice.
Since the dealers' world is always changing Philip will demonstrate the continual developments from solution providers to ensure a cohesive vision to consumer demands and expectations, explaining why dealers need to be relevant and responsive more than ever before.
In ‘Know Your Customers’ Philip will explain:
- The evolving expectations and demands of the consumer.
- The main challenges dealers face in today’s evolving market, including increasing pressures on cost, targets and competition.
- Why monthly valuations are becoming decreasing important.
- The increasing importance of ‘live’ data and insight.
- Current search habits and changing consumer valuation behaviours.
- Changes in the market relative to the shift from trade values to retail prices and how this drives decision making.
- Evolving consumer expectations and how this impacts dealers and their businesses.
- Continual developments from solution providers and the importance of being responsive to changing demands.
The event, which is free to attend, promises to be the summer’s biggest industry expo for franchised dealer groups, manufacturers and automotive suppliers.
